Hello…and updates
Okay, I’ve not been posting for 200 years.
But anyway, there were so many things that happened in 200 years so I’ll separate them into EOYs, Post-EOYs, Hana Yori Dango Final which is inclusive of my obsession and the latest rumors, PSL camp, Grey’s Anatomy Season 5, Malacca which links me to Debates and of course other random things.
So, EOYs came and went. It was studying and studying for Geography and History and lots of remedial with Ms. Chooi for Math. But I thought I did pretty well, except for those that I have very high expectations for, meaning my languages. I flunked summary, 11/25, and an A2 for Chinese! (Gosh!) But I ACED humanities and Math, A1 and 2 respectively. Science was pretty bad, a B3. My overall MSG for the year is 2.17 which is the second worst in the Sec2 debate cohort but, oh well, it’s already quite low.
Post-EOYs is a hell lot of drama rehearsals for Choral and Drama night and a lot of activities like the biennale whereby every one was scared and disgusted by the glass maggots. It is seriously not scary. I think I accidentally kicked one of it. There was family day and we took lots of photos and went around dirtying our feet in sand and making jump shots in the water. I didn’t play the ball games, for obvious reasons and instead took up the job of photographing the class. On the way back to school, I was looking at the shot of the words, ’7 of us’ written by Grace and I asked them whether they think that we will remember who the 7 are when we are 50 and looking through our old stuff. Huilin was like, ‘你无聊哦？’ and Alicia and I were amazed by how fast time passes and how old we are. Class closure was really good though. HB wanted to cry. We sang 100 years for Mr. Chia and he wanted to cry too. We rushed out 关怀方式 for HB. Level closure speech was by me and Abby. It was extremely impromptu but we had the longest speech out of all the classes. Chalet is tomorrow and it’s really the last time we are ever going to be as a class and be together and do something together. It’s actually rather emotional when you put it in such a sense. I did duty for Sec4 Graduation Ceremony and we were slacking when I told Elena that if we live to 70, we have just passed 1/5 of our whole life and Elena was like, ‘Jan, shut up!’ Haha, the truth does sting and stink.

Hana Yori Dango was just as I pictured because from the trailers and the spoilers, I could actually see it in my head. Although some parts of the spoiler wasn’t exactly right but it was mostly very accurate. Inoue Mao looked extremely pretty in the last scene, particularly, when she and Jun went back to the beach (and cornily wrote LOVE in the sand). She makes a very good match with Jun. Apparently, according to the latest news, they are dating in secret and they date at home (sad and pathetic) and apparently Jun had some photoshoot when he got a call from Mao and freaked out. Then, speculations arises, you know. But at least there’s finally some sort of haze around their relationship now instead of it being dismissed as platonic, which, by the way, I do not believe can exist between two people who had never had sparks before. I mean, like Da S puts it, ‘难道我一看到他就觉得，哇，他是我梦想中的朋友。’ There will always be some sort of sparks, or at least, remote thougths of being together if you are close to one another and believe me, they are close. Back to point, HYD final was corny and sweet for me because I watched the whole series but Jie just dissed it as corny. It is corny but I liked it, so…who cares? I thought that some parts could have much better closure, like Yuuki and Nishikado was never properly addressed and they didn’t address it in the movie either but I guess Yoko Kamio never meant to give them closure. Personally, I thought the movie focused too much on Makino and Domyouji but I’m fine because I get to see more of MatsuJun then.
Anyway, PSL camp now. It was really fun! It loved my team. I was with Sophie againa dn i met Josephien and Amanda who turned out to be awesome! Josephine has a cute voice and Amanda knows about MatsuJun so I can talk to her about it! Kya~
Grey’s Season 5 is freaking good! Major Owen Hunt is totally raising the temperature in SGH! Seriously, how much hotness can one hospital take? I know Channel 5 will definitely not show Season 5 since there’s a lesbian couple who are pretty much part of the bigger main cast. Censorship here is so freaking strict and moreover, we kind of deny the existence of homosexuals. But, my god, why would Callie throw away all that McSteamy hotness for Erica Hahn? Alex and Izzie are so good together. They are essentially very different but they connect well.
The Malacca trip is cancelled for the whole Sec 2 cohort. Except the debaters. I am part of a big conspiracy. I was not supposed to go with the Sec2 group at all. I was going to get pulled out and go debate and do school service. But, it’s okay, I still get to go, for free this time. I may actually enjoy it! But we’re showcasing Arena format and for goodness sake, it’s not easy.
Jie just showed me the Hotel 626 game which is scring the hell out of me. It’s very frightening and there’s like ghosts lurking everywhere and scary little words popping out after you get into one room. It’s very nicely made though. Jennifer huson’s news is really sad. MPP seems pretty good for now and ZY’s friend is doing it too.

Greatest Accomplishment of the Day:
I walked home from…Tiong Bahru bus stop! took me half an hour since I was leisurely walking and I saw two 123 pass by. I didn’t even felt like waiting fro the bus and i had a strong urge to walk, so I walked all the way home! I feel skinnier already.
